Henry and I would both like to thank Danny for all the wonderful help and advice he gave us over the years with Lucy. Danny looked after Lucy from the age of 12 weeks to 12 years old. Being a very smart Basenji Lucy had many quirks that were both endearing and frustrating. Danny helped to teach us and Lucy how to best deal with them and each other. She became very well socialized. For those of you who do not know the Basenji breed, they do not make friends easily. Once they trust you they are very loyal. On seeing Danny, Lucy would seem to turn inside out with joy which is a testament to how much she trusted him. No matter how much we think of Danny, the fact that Lucy clearly bonded with him put our minds at ease."
